Scalpel At The Cross was founded in 2004, inspired by a vision from Peter and Nancy Cole in 1988. This organization is dedicated to delivering essential medical and surgical care to the underserved community of Pucallpa, Peru. By integrating Peruvian and American volunteers, the mission focuses on treating musculoskeletal conditions while addressing the physical and spiritual needs of the local population.
