The Sayat Nova Dance Company of Boston was established in January 1986 to celebrate and preserve the rich heritage of Armenian culture through the art of dance. Under the direction of Apo Ashjian, the Company unites talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering a spirit of friendship and pride among the Armenian community.
Since its inception, SNDC has performed extensively across the United States, Canada, and Armenia, showcasing over twenty performances at prestigious venues, including the Opera House in Yerevan. The Company has participated in international festivals, promoting cultural pride and unity within the Armenian community.
