Saving Grace in Uganda began in 2007 when Alon and Val Bransdorfer opened their home to 26 children in need after a tragic incident in Northern Uganda. This compassionate act led to the establishment of Uncle Fred's House, which has evolved into Saving Grace Children's Village, dedicated to providing homes, education, and care for street children.
Over 1000 street children have been helped through Saving Grace in Uganda. The organization has successfully facilitated the adoption of over 70 children, giving them a new life, a loving home, and a restored future.
100% of donations go directly to Uganda, with board members covering all administrative costs. This ensures that every contribution directly supports the mission of rescuing and restoring street children.
