Our Story
Saving Grace, originally established as the Central Oregon Battering and Rape Alliance in 1970, has transformed into a beacon of hope for survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault. Founded by dedicated volunteers, the organization has expanded its services to include emergency shelter, counseling, and legal advocacy. In 2007, the name was changed to Saving Grace to reflect a more positive mission and honor the experiences of survivors. Today, Saving Grace continues to advocate for those affected by violence, striving to enhance outreach and prevention efforts.
Impact
Since its inception, Saving Grace has answered over 50,000 helpline calls and served more than 47,000 individuals, providing over 63,000 safe nights to those in need. The organization is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for survivors in Central Oregon.
