Our Story
Save the River-Save the Hills is committed to protecting the Niantic River Estuary and the Oswegatchie Hills. Inspired by Fred Grimsey and the Sloop Clearwater's crew, the organization initiated the Niantic River Pumpout Program to ensure a cleaner environment.
Impact
This year, a record number of gallons have been pumped, significantly enhancing the cleanliness of the Niantic River.
