Our Story

At SAVE, Inc., meaningful change is at the heart of the mission. For over 35 years, this organization has been a beacon of hope for Kansas City’s most vulnerable populations. Originally established as an eight-bed hospice for individuals with HIV/AIDS, SAVE, Inc. has expanded its services to include permanent, transitional, and emergency housing for those facing homelessness due to HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, and mental health challenges.

Each year, SAVE, Inc. serves nearly 2,000 individuals, working tirelessly towards a world free of homelessness and housing discrimination.
