Founded in 2006 by Drs. Barb Wehmann and Ed Lentz, SCOOP began with the rescue of a timid feral cat named Timi. This experience unveiled a larger colony of feral cats in dire need of assistance. Through trapping, medical care, and adoption efforts, SCOOP has become a beacon of hope for countless cats in the Cincinnati area.
Since its inception, SCOOP has successfully assisted over 3,000 community cats through spay/neuter and sick/injured cat programs, promoting compassionate treatment and well-being.
