Our Story
In 2015, the journey began with a profound question: "Where is the healing for the millions suffering from Sexually Related Trauma (SRT)?" With approximately 50% of the adult population affected by one or more forms of SRT, the need for healing became evident. The first step was launching AbAnon, a support group for women dealing with trauma from past abortions. This was followed by the establishment of AbAnon groups for men in 2017. As stories of trauma unfolded, a consistent theme of sexual abuse and assault emerged, highlighting the urgent need for dedicated healing programs.
In response, SAVAnon was created, offering support groups for both women and men who have experienced sexual abuse. Additionally, MiSAnon was launched to support women coping with miscarriage and stillbirth. These initiatives aim to provide a safe space for individuals to heal from their traumas, fostering healthier relationships and brighter futures.
