Sara Burke was a vibrant five-year-old who loved life, arts and crafts, and her family. In 2007, her world changed when she was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Despite enduring numerous surgeries and treatments at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Sara faced her battle with remarkable courage and positivity. Tragically, she lost her fight in 2008, but her legacy lives on through the Sara’s Smiles Foundation.
