The Santa Ynez Valley Therapeutic Riding Program, founded in 1990 by Dr. Mary Ann Evans, began as a small initiative with just one horse. Over the years, it has grown into a Premier Accredited Center with PATH International, dedicated to helping individuals overcome life challenges through equine-assisted activities.
Each week, 60 students benefit from our programs, with 300 individuals served annually, addressing physical, cognitive, social, and emotional challenges.
