Our Story
Established in 1976 by two dedicated working women, the Santa Cruz Toddler Care Center was created to fill a critical gap in quality care for very young children. As the first of its kind in the Western States, the center is inspired by the Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE) program founded by Magda Gerber. It has become a beacon of excellence, attracting educators and administrators from around the globe, including New Zealand and Japan, who seek to learn from this exemplary model.
