Our Story

Founded in 1908 by Arianna VanDoorn, the Santa Claus Girls of Kent County has dedicated over a century to ensuring that no child goes without a gift on Christmas morning. This 100% volunteer-based organization mobilizes community support to provide gifts for children aged 1 to 12, adapting to the needs of the community over the years.

Impact

Each year, approximately 12,000 children in Kent County receive gifts during the holiday season, with numbers potentially rising to 15,000 based on economic conditions.
