Santa Clara Women’s League

Our Story

The Santa Clara Women’s League was founded in 1983 to ensure the continuation of the Senior Center Health & Wellness Program. A dedicated group of women organized the first SHOWTIME melodrama, raising essential funds to support this vital community service. This tradition has flourished, with the League serving as the primary sponsor, gathering donations, producing and selling tickets, and volunteering at performances. Each year, the League also hosts a catered Holiday Meal for over 100 seniors, enhancing their festive experience with decorations, conversation, and live entertainment.

Our Impact

Thanks to generous contributions, 100% of profits from SHOWTIME are donated to the Santa Clara Senior Center. Over the years, the League has donated more than a quarter of a million dollars to support local seniors.
