Our Story
Founded in 1949, Santa Barbara New House began as a response to the pressing issue of alcoholism in the community. With the guidance of Marty Mann, the organization evolved from the Santa Barbara Committee on Alcoholism into a dedicated facility for men seeking recovery. The first New House opened in 1955, and since then, the organization has expanded to include multiple facilities, providing a safe haven for those battling addiction.
