Sankara Eye Foundation USA was established in 1998 in the San Francisco Bay Area, inspired by the pioneering work of Dr. R.V. Ramani and Dr. Radha Ramani in India. With a mission to eliminate curable blindness, SEF USA has provided the Gift of Vision to over 3 million underserved individuals across India’s neediest districts. Through a network of 27 hospitals in 14 states, the foundation serves more than 444 million people nationwide.
