Our Story
Sandra Kae Yellow Robe was a devoted family woman from Mitchell, South Dakota, who dedicated her life to her loved ones and cultural identity. Raised by a single mother, she later moved to Rapid City, where she graduated from Stevens High School and met her husband, Luke Yellow Robe. Sandra's legacy of unconditional love, self-sustainability, and respect for cultural heritage continues to inspire the foundation's mission. Her aspiration for her family to thrive through foraging, growing, and hunting reflects the values that guide the foundation today.
