Our Story

The Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership is dedicated to protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the Sand Creek Regional Greenway, a nearly 13-mile public trail and natural area in the northeast Denver metro area. Established in 2000, SCRGP has raised over $20 million for green infrastructure and trail development, ensuring equitable access and engagement for diverse communities.

Impact

Each year, SCRGP serves over 1,800 youth through free or affordable experiential nature-based education and outdoor recreation programs. With over 20 volunteer events annually, the organization has accumulated more than 450 volunteer hours on the Greenway.
