Our Story

Sanctuary Farm Philadelphia, founded in 2017 by Andrea Vettori, is dedicated to transforming neglected urban areas into flourishing farms. With a focus on combating health disparities caused by systemic racial oppression and economic injustice, this initiative provides fresh produce and community programs to those in need.

Impact

Since its inception, Sanctuary Farm has harvested over 22,708 pounds of fresh produce, serving 700 families and welcoming 7,712 visits to its produce stand. This effort significantly enhances access to healthy food in North Philadelphia.
