Our Story

The San Mateo County Code 30 Foundation was established in 2013 following the tragic loss of three active members of the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. These untimely deaths highlighted the urgent need for immediate financial support for the families left behind. Just days after the foundation's inception, a fourth officer was seriously injured and later passed away, prompting the foundation to cover travel expenses for family members to be by his side during his final moments.
