Our Story

The San Luis Obispo Vocal Arts Ensemble has been captivating audiences since 1977 under the guidance of founder and Musical Director Gary Lamprecht. This volunteer-based choir, comprised of talented individuals who audition annually, is dedicated to delivering exceptional choral music experiences to a diverse audience. With a commitment to musical excellence, the ensemble has toured internationally, showcasing their passion for music and community engagement.

Impact

Vocal Arts has earned numerous medals at choral competitions worldwide and has awarded over $11,000 in scholarships to local high school seniors pursuing music education. This demonstrates a strong commitment to fostering musical talent and excellence within the community.
