Our Story

San Luis Obispo Mothers for Peace began as an anti-Vietnam War group in 1969, evolving into a dedicated organization opposing the dangers of the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Plant. Through legal actions and educational outreach, the organization champions peace, environmental and social justice, and renewable energy.
