Our Story

The San Jose Police Chaplaincy program was established in 1977 by three dedicated police officers to serve the members and families of the San Jose Police Department. Over the years, the mission has expanded to include vital support for the citizens of San Jose. Operating in collaboration with the SJPD Administration and the San Jose Police Officer’s Association, the chaplains are available 24/7 to assist during times of crisis.
