The San Jose Police Activities League (PAL) was founded in 1967 by Sgt. Jim J. Guido to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the youth of San Jose. Through athletics, academics, and community goodwill, PAL provides safe and engaging activities that deter street crime and promote positive interactions.
Each year, San Jose PAL reaches approximately 2,000 local youth and their families, fostering trust and understanding between law enforcement and the community.
