About the San Jose International Piano Competition
Founded in the Spring of 2000 by Dr. Irina Morgan and her husband Dan Morgan, the San Jose International Piano Competition began as the International Russian Music Piano Competition. Held at San Jose State University, this competition attracts talented pianists from around the globe, supported by a distinguished jury of concert pianists and educators.

The San Jose International Piano Competition provides a vital platform for young pianists to showcase their talents, gain recognition, and receive invaluable feedback from world-class jury members.
