Our Story

For over three decades, San Joaquin Fair Housing Foundation Inc has been dedicated to promoting fair housing practices in San Joaquin County. Established in 1983, this nonprofit organization was created to meet the requirements of the Federal Government’s Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. The foundation provides essential services such as education, mediation, housing assistance, and complaint investigation, working collaboratively with property managers, owners, and local agencies.

Our Impact

In the 2020-2021 fiscal year, San Joaquin Fair Housing anticipates serving 6,960 individuals and families, impacting a total of 23,450 household members. With additional funding, the foundation aims to expand its reach and enhance its services.
