Our Story

San Francisco SafeHouse, founded in 1998 by Rev. Glenda Hope and Sister Rosina, provides essential supportive services and transitional housing for unhoused survivors of sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. With a commitment to empowerment, SafeHouse has served over 1,000 women, expanding its services to include the Hope Center, which offers rental subsidies and outreach.

Impact

Since its inception, SafeHouse has provided over 190,000 nights of safety to women experiencing housing instability and sexual violence.
