Our Story

San Diego Craft Collective was founded in 2018 by a group of woodworking enthusiasts who identified a significant gap in the local creative community. They envisioned a space dedicated to teaching woodworking and other skilled crafts, providing a community resource where individuals can access expert instruction and a fully equipped woodshop. Inspired by the Waldorf education model and the Sloyd Method, this collective offers a safe and welcoming environment for both adults and children to engage in hands-on learning, fostering creativity and craftsmanship.
