Our Story

In 1975, five dedicated men recognized the urgent need for a true Gospel Rescue Mission in San Antonio. With a collective donation of $100 each, they purchased the property at 907 East Quincy, opening the doors to the Mission on October 22, 1975. That night, the Mission welcomed 7 men, marking the beginning of a transformative journey. Over the years, tens of thousands have experienced the love of God through nightly Gospel preaching, hot meals, showers, toiletries, fresh clothing, and a safe shelter with clean bedding.
