For over 50 years, the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center has been a beacon of hope and health in Kansas City. Founded by Dr. Samuel U. Rodgers in 1968, this center was the first federally recognized community health center in Missouri, established to ensure that families have access to essential health services right in their neighborhoods. Dr. Rodgers’ vision was clear: every family deserves quality, compassionate, and affordable health care. Today, that vision continues to thrive as the center serves over 23,000 individuals annually, providing a wide range of health services.
