Our Story
The Sammons Center for the Arts has a rich history dating back to 1908, originally serving as the Turtle Creek Pump Station. In 1988, it transformed into a vibrant arts center, named in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Sammons, who were principal benefactors. This center acts as an incubator for over 100 small performing arts organizations, providing essential resources to promote and sustain the arts in Dallas.
