Founded in 1997 by Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar and Nagesh SP, Samarthanam is dedicated to creating an inclusive society that provides equal opportunities for the visually impaired, disabled, and economically underserved. Despite their own visual impairments, the founders envisioned a world where individuals with disabilities are respected and valued as contributing members of society.

Impact

Over the years, Samarthanam has transformed the lives of more than 60,000 individuals in India, breaking societal barriers and fostering respect and dignity for all. The first visually impaired chartered accountant in India is a testament to the organization's success.
