Samaritan's Carriage is a nonprofit organization founded in 2002, dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors with limited mobility in the greater Grand Rapids area. By providing outings and experiences, the organization addresses the loneliness often felt by individuals in nursing homes, allowing them to connect with others and enjoy the world outside their homes.

Impact on the Community

Every month, Samaritan's Carriage creates joyful experiences for 50 seniors, alleviating loneliness through engaging outings. With over 70 dedicated volunteers, the organization has served 10 senior living homes and conducts 9 outings per year, fostering a sense of community and connection.
