For over forty years, Salud Para La Gente has been a beacon of hope for the community, ensuring access to healthcare for those who need it most. Founded in 1978 as a single free clinic, Salud has evolved into a federally qualified health center with five clinics and four school-based health centers, serving nearly 27,000 patients. Rooted in the vibrant community of California’s Central Coast, Salud focuses on the health needs of farmworkers and their families, who play a crucial role in feeding America.
