Our Story

Founded in 1962 by Ermine Watkins Lovell, Salt Pond Areas Bird Sanctuaries, Inc. is dedicated to preserving Falmouth’s open space wildlife habitats and historic buildings. Lovell’s vision continues through the organization’s efforts to solicit land donations for conservation.
