Utah Community Action was founded to address the needs of individuals experiencing poverty. With a mission to empower individuals, strengthen families, and build communities, UCA offers essential services through six core programs: Workforce Development, Head Start preschool, HEAT Utility Assistance, Housing & Case Management, Home Weatherization, and Nutrition.

Making a Significant Impact

Each year, UCA serves approximately 50,000 children and families across Salt Lake, Tooele, Morgan, Weber, and Davis Counties, providing them with the tools needed to attain and sustain self-reliance.
