Our Story

The Salem Leadership Foundation (SLF) was founded in 1996 as a faith-based community-impact organization. It builds bridges between the faith community and the broader community, focusing on schools, government, business, human services, and law enforcement. By engaging individuals of faith and goodwill, SLF transforms neighborhoods, addressing both social and spiritual issues.

Impact

SLF invests significantly in its initiatives, with each Churches as Neighborhood (CaN) Center valued at approximately $247,000 annually. Each Lightning Rod generates a leveraged value of $494,000, showcasing an impressive return-on-investment of 11 to 1.
