Our Story

Salem Community Gardens, established in 2007, provides gardening opportunities to over 248 families in Salem, Massachusetts. This entirely volunteer-run organization acknowledges the land's Indigenous heritage and the Massachusett tribe, fostering a sense of community and connection.

The gardens not only offer access to gardening but also contribute significantly to food donations for The Salem Pantry, enhancing food security and community well-being.
