Salado Montessori

Our Story

In March 2016, Alissa and Jake McClure moved to Salado, Texas, with a vision to provide quality Montessori education for their daughter, Iona. Faced with the challenge of a long commute to the nearest Montessori school in Austin, they decided to establish Salado Montessori, a nonprofit school dedicated to enriching the community. The enthusiasm and support from fellow parents have fueled their commitment to create an exceptional educational environment for children in Salado.

Impact

Thanks to generous contributions, Salado Montessori has raised over $8,000 to enhance school programs. This funding has enabled Mrs. Villalpando to pursue her AMI Primary Diploma, further enriching the educational experience for students. Additionally, a new playscape has been installed, providing children with a safe and engaging outdoor space.
