Founded in 1870 by The Sisters of the Community of St. Mary, St. Mary’s Hospital for Children has been a beacon of hope for acutely ill children in New York City. Originally established in Manhattan, the organization has evolved over 150 years, relocating to a larger facility in Queens and expanding its services to include home care and specialized programs for children with complex medical needs.
