Our Story

Founded in 1884 by the Sisters of St. Joseph, Saint Mary’s Home of Erie has evolved from a modest facility for 15 residents into a comprehensive Continuing Care Retirement Community. This growth reflects a deep commitment to meeting the diverse needs of seniors in the Erie community.

Impact on the Community

Each year, over 300 seniors and their families benefit from a continuum of care that includes independent living, skilled nursing, and specialized memory care. Additionally, the organization serves as a clinical and educational site for nearly 250 nursing students annually.
