Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary was founded by Jean LeFevre after rescuing a wolf named Mystery from illegal captivity. Since opening on October 4, 2002, the sanctuary has expanded from a 3-acre property to a 15-acre facility dedicated to the lifelong care of non-releasable wolves and wolfdogs.
