Our Story

Founded in 2004 by Laurie Mezzalingua, a breast cancer survivor, the Saint Agatha Foundation is dedicated to supporting individuals in Central New York who are battling breast cancer. The Foundation aims to alleviate the financial burdens faced by patients, allowing them to focus on their treatment and recovery.

Impact

In 2021, the Foundation assisted over 640 patients and their families, providing essential grants to hospitals and organizations across seven counties. Over the past decade, more than 7,035 breast cancer patients have benefited from over $13.5 million in financial assistance.
