Our Story

Founded in the summer of 2006, the Saginaw Bay Riverdawgs emerged from a passion for youth sports. Mark Krzysiak and Tom Merkle, owners of Peak Performance, recognized a growing interest among thirteen-year-olds in their baseball training facility. They engaged local parents, leading to the formation of travel teams that would compete against others across the nation. Since then, the organization has expanded significantly, now supporting over 200 athletes in both baseball and softball.
