Founded in July 2022, SHRED The Stigma, originally known as Out of Harm’s Way Okc, is dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals affected by substance use in Oklahoma City. With the guidance of SHOTS (Stop Harm On Tulsa Streets), the organization has rapidly grown through community involvement and engagement. The mission is clear: meet individuals where they are, providing support and resources to those who need it most.
Impact in the Community
In May 2024, SHRED The Stigma proudly reported 1,920 total overdose reversals in the Oklahoma City metro area, a testament to the effectiveness of the harm reduction kits provided to the community.
