Our Story

Founded in 1992 by the Junior League of Raleigh, SAFEchild is dedicated to eliminating child abuse in Wake County. The organization provides a comprehensive range of child abuse prevention and intervention services at no cost to families, fostering strong family units where children can thrive.

Impact

Since 2011, SAFEchild has positively impacted over 16,000 children and families annually, serving 5,400 children at its Advocacy Center and empowering 12,593 first graders through the Funny Tummy Feelings program in 2024.
