Our Story
Safe Harbor Easton has its roots in community compassion, beginning in 1983 with the Easton Drop-In Center. This initiative provided essential meals, recreation, and advocacy for low-income residents, many of whom faced homelessness. As the need for shelter became evident, Lafayette College students established a roving shelter in 1988, which led to the creation of a permanent facility in 1990. Over the years, Safe Harbor has evolved from a simple drop-in center to a comprehensive shelter service, dedicated to addressing the needs of homeless men and women in Easton.
