Our Story

Safe Animal Shelter of Orange Park, established in 1991, is Clay County’s first no-kill shelter dedicated to providing a safe haven for homeless pets. With a mission to find forever homes for these animals, the shelter has successfully cared for over 18,000 cats and dogs, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve until they are adopted.

Our Impact

Striving for a no-kill community, Safe Animal Shelter focuses on adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services. Each adoption opens up space to save another homeless animal, making a significant difference in the lives of pets in need.
