Founded by Southern Ute and Dine (Navajo) artists Oreland Joe, Sr. and Bo Joe, the Sacred Youth Foundation is dedicated to providing opportunities for youth to absorb and preserve their culture through art. Established in 2018, the foundation evolved from the Dahayoigii Event, which began in 2014, focusing on inspiring confidence and cultural awareness in Diné youth through traditional art forms.
The Sacred Youth Foundation empowers children to honor and preserve their culture through various traditional art forms, culminating in a cultural fair where youth can showcase their creations.
