Our Story

Founded in 1959, Sacramento Waldorf School began as a humble home-based Kindergarten with just two children. As the school flourished, it transitioned through various locations, including a rented church hall and a parent-provided house and garden. By 1971, the school found its permanent home on a 3.5-acre mixed-use farm, reflecting its commitment to the rich agricultural landscape of California. Over the past 60 years, the campus has evolved alongside increasing enrollment, fostering a nurturing environment for students.

Impact

Sacramento Waldorf School has empowered countless students to embrace the world, with alumni thriving globally and often choosing to send their own children to Waldorf schools, a testament to the profound impact of their education.
