Sacramento Splash

Our Story

Founded in 1999 by Eva Butler, Sacramento Splash combines hands-on science education with outdoor experiences to inspire children to protect water and local habitats. Over the past 23 years, Splash has partnered with municipalities to educate communities about Stormwater Pollution Prevention, connecting nearly 105,000 students with nature, often for the first time.

Impact

Splash has trained over 450 teachers, making science engaging and inspiring curiosity in students. The organization has delivered 2,992 presentations and organized 1,777 field trips, fostering a love for the environment.
